Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

Towards the end of 2018, “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare” research team has been stablished by Mahsa Khorasani at WTLab in the Computer Engineering Department under the guidance of Professor Mohsen Kahani.

Till today, more than 9 projects have been designed and developed, in which various types of data, such as clinical linguistic data, medical texts, social media content, have been analyzed. The Objectives of such researches is to automate the process of detecting and predicting mental and non-mental diseases, as well as extracting and analyzing medical information from textual data, such as investigating drug side effects and axons from social media contents.
