Process Mining Team
Stored readable data is a staple of today’s information systems. Process mining or ProcessMining deals with the analysis of processes using event data. Classical data mining techniques such as clustering, classification, law exploration, etc. do not focus on business process models and are only used to analyze a specific step in the overall process. Process exploration focuses on end-to-end processes and is possible because the available event data is increasing day by day and new process discovery techniques as well as concurrency checking techniques are being developed. Process exploration techniques use recorded event data to discover, analyze, and improve business processes.
Process Mining Team
Process exploration means discovering and monitoring and improving real processes using knowledge extracted from event logs in today’s information systems. Each event in an event log refers to an activity and is associated with an instance (such as a process instance).
